How to Embed Google Maps in Your Blog Posts
Want to show your readers exactly where something is? Embedding a Google Map in your blog post is a great way to share locations, event venues, or business addresses. Follow these easy steps to add an interactive map to your content.
Step 1: Open the Insert Menu in the Blog Editor
To get started, open your blog post in the PublishFi editor. Click the plus (+) button in the toolbar at the bottom to open the Insert Widget menu.

Step 2: Select "Google Maps"
From the Insert Widget menu, choose Google Maps. This will open the map embed dialog.

Step 3: Get Your Google Maps Embed Code
- Open Google Maps in a new browser tab.
- Search for the location you want to embed.
- Click the Share button in the location’s overview.
- Select the Embed a map tab.
- Click Copy HTML to copy the embed code.

Step 4: Paste the Embed Code
Return to the PublishFi editor and paste the copied HTML snippet into the input box in the Insert Map dialog.

Step 5: Preview and Insert the Map
You’ll see a preview of your embedded map. If it looks correct, click Submit to add it to your blog post.

- Adjust the map size in the embed code if needed for better fit.
- Only embed maps from trusted locations.
