Connect PublishFi to Shopify

PublishFi lets you embed finished videos directly on your Shopify product and collection pages. Adding video to your storefront reduces buyer hesitation, improves time-on-page, and helps shoppers understand your product before they buy.

Before you begin

• You need a PublishFi account with at least one exported video.
• You need access to the Shopify admin for your store (store owner or staff with content permissions).

Adding a video to a Shopify product page

1. Export your video from PublishFi and copy the shareable link or download the file.
2. In your Shopify admin, go to Products and open the product you want to update.
3. In the Media section, click Add media and either paste the video URL or upload the file directly.
4. Drag the video thumbnail to set it as the first media item if you want it to appear by default.
5. Click Save.

The video will now appear in the media carousel on your product page.

Embedding in custom sections

If your theme supports video sections (most Shopify 2.0 themes do), you can also embed a video in any page section:

1. Go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize.
2. Click Add section and look for a Video or Custom HTML block.
3. Paste your PublishFi video embed code or URL into the block.
4. Save and preview the page.

Tips

• Keep product videos under 60 seconds — viewers decide quickly whether a product fits their needs.
• Use PublishFi's Auto Frame to export square (1:1) or vertical (9:16) cuts for mobile shoppers alongside the standard landscape cut.
• Compress your export for web before uploading to avoid slow page loads.
